I thank all of you for your patience as we transition the Final Exam Portfolio into Canvas. Any transition usually has a few bumps, and I have learned a great deal about those bumps from the emails I received this week about your concerns. To that end, I would like to clarify a few things about the application process:

  • From now on, students who complete the application process will receive a confirmation email.
  • Students who have already completed the application process will receive an email from me confirming receipt of their application.
  • Once the application period closes, the applications will be verified to ensure applicants are qualified to take the exam. Qualified applicants will then be added to the submission site.
  • Qualified applicants will be asked to verify they have been added to the submission site. Qualified applicants who have not been added to the site will email me before the submission site opens.
  • Applicants who are not qualified to take the Final Exam Portfolio this semester will receive an email stating that they are not qualified.
